Kayaking in the Grand Canyon, Arizona is possibly the best trip in all around the world. There are many difficulties levels of the Rapids on a Kayak. In Grand Canyon, it has its own rapid rating system that is 1-10. People know very well that most of the river only has a rapid rate of I-VI scale.

Grand Canyon is only one, which is rated 1 to 10. This Rapid rate is only for the Colorado River because Colorado river tour is so dangerous. When the rapid rate is high (8-10), it is the most challenging for the guides who are kayaking. The most challenging rapids are Crystal and Lava Falls, both of these are threatening and have a 100% chance of flicking the boat.

In the summer season, the color of the water is changed into brownish because of the floods. Many people assume that April and May are the best months for rapid kayaking. Because in this month, there are no issues of raining or snowing. But the kayakers will have to face only one thing that is wildflowers. But many adventurous people like to go in winter, the reason is that they love the adventure.

The trip is about 227 miles from Lee’s Ferry to Diamond Creek and the time taken to complete this journey is about 2 to 3 weeks.  For private tripping in Grand Canyon, you will have to stay in Lee’s Ferry the day before and rigging your boats about 100 feet downstream to the boot camp. The next day, an NPS ranger check your IDs and the life jackets and after a final conversation, you will send for rapid kayaking. If you have not sufficient time of 2 to 3 weeks then you can choose the trip of  88 miles for 10 days.
