To change a mood, to refresh yourself you need a cup of tea. Yes, you need a cup of tea of course. Tea has the important ingredients like vitamins, antioxidants and most importantly caffeine. All these items are essential elements to human. Caffeine is a bitter alkaloid which is responsible for the stimulating effects in human body. This ingredient caffeine induces the energy level and gives you the feeling of freshness. And this is the reason why most of the people want a cup of black or green tea after a hefty task or at their breakfast. A cup of any tea either black tea or white tea or a green tea daily can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and attacks or simply the heart attack risks to a great extent. The next immediate benefit you can get from your cup of black or green tea is the prevention from cancer.

Tea leaves are so beneficial that in the ancient time, people used to chew them whenever they needed to heal any wound or to lessen the body pain. During that time people were not aware of tea as a stimulant. It was used for immediate medicinal uses in situations like toothache and cuts. Chinese people are the first to use the tea from the period of Han Dynasty. Indians also have used tea for thousand years. The use of lea leaves as medicines in India dates back to the time of King Ashoka in near about 300BC. The tradition of these medicinal uses of tea leaf was there in cultures of Asian countries mostly in India and China from a very long time back. China has a history of consuming tea (in today’s form) from as early as the 10th BC. The most remarkable thing here is that the use of tea as a medicinal plant is there among the people of Asia from almost the formation of societies among mankind. Irrespective of the type or colour that a tea leave can produce it was used by them. No one knew about the black or green tea, yet they knew that tea leaves have stimulating capacity. Now everyone around the world has the modern technologies with them to compare and contrast the benefits and harms of tea varieties like black tea, white tea, green tea, oolong tea or any other type of tea available today. 

Tea along with caffeine and antioxidants contains other micro granules most of which are considered to be beneficial for the human body. Reducing the heart attack risks to preventing various diseases, tea is really a health and mood lifter. Whether you are feeling low on energy or feeling low on your mood, you can depend on a cup of either black tea or green tea to charge your mood.

Tea also contains catechins a antioxidant and it is the main antioxidant found in lea leaves. White and green teas have higher concentration of Catechins whereas black tea and other types contain lesser amount of it. Tea also contains other matters like theanine, fluoride, theophylline and theobromine in a very negligible amount. All these elements found in tea generally add to the medicinal qualities of tea.

Now, knowing the fact that tea helps in reducing cardiovascular related diseases and heart attack risks you can simply say, A Cup of Tea Please!
